Will My Ex Come Back? The Honest Quiz
Every quiz on this question is built the same way: ten softball questions, a result that says there's hope, and a box demanding your email before you can see it. This one is different. It's scored from the signs I actually weigh with clients, ranked by how often they came before a real comeback across 1,000+ cases. It will tell you when the answer is no. And it doesn't want your email.
Answer honestly; you're the only one who sees it. Your answers never leave this page. Nothing is stored, sent, or saved, not even in your browser. Close the tab and it's gone.
How this quiz is scored
The questions map to the sign tiers from my guide on the signs your ex will come back. Strong signs are the costly ones: they break the silence with something real, they bring up the relationship unprompted, they stay quietly single, they ask if you're seeing anyone. Moderate signs show the attachment is still alive without proving a decision changed. Weak signs barely move the needle, and story views don't move it at all. A sign is only as strong as what it costs them.
Two answers outweigh everything else. If they've clearly asked you to stop contacting them, the quiz tells you to stop, whatever your score, because no version of this work runs through a boundary. And your own behavior counts, because every act of pursuit lowers the probability.
Whatever your result says, the next move is the same: stop guessing and run a real plan. The free training walks the psychology of why people come back, and how to rebuild your side of the equation.

FAQ: The Ex-Back Quiz
How accurate is a "will my ex come back" quiz?
As accurate as its inputs, and honest about its limits. This one scores the same signs I weigh with real clients, ranked by how often they actually preceded a comeback. But no quiz can see inside another person's head. Treat the result as a weather report, not a verdict, and remember that your behavior after the breakup moves your odds more than any score does.
What percentage of exes come back?
There's no honest number, and anyone quoting an exact percentage is selling reassurance, not data. On-again relationships are common enough that researchers study them as their own category, and most of my clients who run the full process reconnect. That's a self-selected group doing months of real work. It tells you what's possible, not what's promised.
Will my avoidant ex come back? Does the quiz account for attachment style?
Yes. One question asks whether your ex reads avoidant, anxious, or secure, and the result changes its advice to match. Avoidant exes come back on a delay, after the relief wears off, and only to someone who stopped pushing, so a middle score with an avoidant ex is a patience problem more than an odds problem. The longer version is in my guide on whether avoidants come back.
Is this also an "is my ex over me" or "does my ex still love me" quiz?
Same signs, different question. The behaviors scored here (who breaks the silence, whether they reopen the relationship, whether the loose ends stay open) are the same ones that answer "is my ex over me," "does my ex still love me," and "will he break no contact." If you're asking for a girlfriend, a boyfriend, or a situationship, the scoring is the same; only the clock changes.
Do I need to enter my email to see my result?
No. Your result shows instantly, on this page, and your answers are never stored or sent anywhere. Quizzes that gate the result behind an email box are building a mailing list. This one is just giving you the answer.
I got "good odds." Should I reach out right now?
Not yet. Signs are conditions, not a starting gun, and the panicked next move kills more reattractions than the breakup ever did. Finish your no contact stretch, keep building, and re-enter light and unhurried. My free no contact tracker counts the days, and the full plan covers the rest.
The quiz said to let it go. Is that final?
No today isn't no forever. I've watched verdicts reverse after a year of nothing. But the move is the same either way: stop waiting, build the life, and become the person who's fine either way. Start with whether you should even want them back.
